This piece is a piece inspired by Langdon Graves. It's about a past relationship and how I was really hurt by it. By far my favorite piece that I've ever made.
20"x 30"
ink, pencil, colored pencil and acrylic on board
This is a piece that I made when my brother left me to go to college in New York. I didn't realize how attached I was to him but when he left I had a really hard time and felt alone with no one to talk to. In this piece, the city is a representation of my brother because Manhattan is literally my brother in city form. The novel that the pages were taken from is the first Harry Potter book, one of my brother's favorite book series. And also I chose to right SUCCUMB on the license plate because in a way I'm giving way to the city and therefore giving way to my brother and my friendship.
acrylic, charcoal, pencil and cut-outs on paper
This piece is a charcoal drawing that we had to use plant patterns in. I have to change the figure in the bottom left corner but besides that it is done.
